SPORTSMANSHIP WINNERS

The sportsmanship awards are new to JTL for 2008.  This new award allows teams to be recognized individually regardless of club size or club point totals.  This award will be given to six teams - one in each of the following divisions: 11&U boys, 11&U girls, 13&U boys, 13&U girls, HS boys, HS girls. 

Scores will be entered and tallied weekly from the interclub match scoresheet and both the home and visiting team may record a score for each other.  The scoring allows three choices:  poor (comments required), satisfactory and exceptional. If a poor rating is received, the team is disqualified from the award. 

LARGE AND SMALL CLUB WINNERS

A team winner will be determined in each age group and the remaining teams will be ranked in subsequent order based on point totals.  An overall team champion trophy will be given to the club with the highest point total in each of two divisions (small club and large club) based on a point system. The Large and Small Divisions will be determined after registration.

1. Final scores are computed using the team standings. Teams must have all scores turned in to be eligible to have points computed toward the total.

2. Aces teams are awarded the following points based on divisional finish:

14 points  First place                 8 points  Fifth place

13 points  Second place            7 points   Sixth place

11 points  Third place               6 points   Seventh place

10 points  Fourth place             5 points   Eighth place

3. Ads teams are awarded the following points based on divisional finish:

10 points  First place                   4 points   Fifth place

9 points    Second place              3 points   Sixth place
7 points    Third place                 2 points   Seventh place

6 points    Fourth place               1 point     Eighth place or lower

4. If a club/organization fields more than one team in any division, they are only awarded points for their best finish (not a total for all teams).
